Honoring “Two Decades of Dedication” to the Craft Movement in America

America’s craft movement took center stage on Friday, March 1 as over 50 ACE committee members and supporters came out to celebrate Sawbridge Studio’s 20th Anniversary!

Sawbridge opened its doors for a special evening of shopping and demonstrations by some of the studio’s most celebrated artists, including: Marie Roth of Long Grove, Dennis O’Malley of Wilmette and furniture craftsman, Zachary Harms of Cicero.

And if all of this was not enough, in honor of its 20th anniversary, Sawbridge Studios generously donated 15% of the proceeds from the weekend’s sales to ACE, which as you know, raises funds for breast and ovarian cancer research and care at NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore).

To thank Sawbridge Studios for their unwavering commitment to ACE and the American craft community, the 2013 ACE Co-chairs and Auxiliary President presented Sawbridge Owners Paul Zurowski and Bill Hiscott with a commemorative plaque.

Thank you, Sawbridge, for all you do! (Bet you didn’t know your small ripples in the craft community could turn into such huge waves of impact for the cancer community, huh?)
