CHICAGO, IL – On Saturday, May 15, The Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) at Evanston & Glenbrook Hospitals hosted A Morning with Craft in America in anticipation of the 26th Annual American Craft Exposition (ACE), to be held August 27-29, 2010. Presented at the Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago, the event included refreshments and an exclusive screening of the Emmy-nominated and Peabody Award winning mini-series Craft in America.
WTTW11 and the ACE committee invited executive producer of the series, Carol Sauvion, to provide an insider’s look at celebrating American craft and the artists that bring it to life. More than 40 people attended this educational event, which celebrated the artists who dedicate their lives to producing craft. Events of the American Craft Exposition, including A Morning with Craft in America, support breast and ovarian cancer research at NorthShore University HealthSystem.
